mom was being racist. --''

In Brunei, Indian guys are called 'Kaling'. and.. I dont even know why. The word can sometimes used as an insult. I just noticed at this point that all Bruneians in GENERAL are a bit racist themselves even if we go, 'Stop Racism' and all that stuff. People go ''Kaling jua kau ani eh'' and other stuff because they don't want to be black.

My mum and me with my cousins were arguing just that. My cousins and I didn't want to say 'Kaling' infront of the Indians and my mum went : ''WHY?, If they don't want to be named Kaling, why live in Brunei? Go back to where they belong then!''

Its because (and I'm glad I'm not the only one that have heard about this) our teachers (we're not in the same school, thus not having the same teachers) said that it is an insult calling an Indian ''Kaling'' as it means ''ghost''.

The look of my mom's face was priceless (for me). I'm a debator, I don't like to lose in an argument, especially if I think I'm right. I got that trait from my mom. So the only person I let myself get trampled on even if I'm right is my mom. Because no matter how right I am, she always think that I'm wrong and she's right. So its not everyday I see my mom fighting back a retort and puts this 'I'm-not-done-with-you-yet-look' (only I can see this as she only give this look to me that time ) and shuts her mouth. Wait, scratch that, she didn't shut her mouth, she just talks about another topic.

Wait for a second.......*shuts eyes and concetrates* I'm going to remember the look of her face forever. ''..the Great Mrs. I'm Always Right-lost-the-battle-look!.."

I'm going back to uninstalling my Sims 2 & Sims 2 H&M Fashion Stuff and reinstalling them all back again. :D
