Your heart skips a beat for the umpteenth time. You're shivering under your thin clothes and your legs are numb for sitting at the same spot for a couple of hours in an over-conditioned room; you're just confused to which is the fault, the cold or the pressure?Your eyes are watery from staring at the paper laid in front of you for too long and also your back started to ache because you've been slouching. Your eyes keep darting between the paper and the clock that's ticking like a time bomb. You cursed under your breath, afraid that you wouldn't make it; afraid that it's too late. Your fingers kept going numb as if they might fell off from squibbling answers on the paper. Your heart skipped another beat. You raced against the time when the invigilator will cry out the dreaded phrase: Time's up. Please put down your pens. It is unanimously agreed that many people gave very high importance for exams. Parent's pressurizing their childs, expecting them to ace it, oblivious that the pressure would definately affect them if not physically but also emotionally. Sure, straight As do look good in your CV, but then, it all comes down to this: future employers hire people that have the skills and unique abilities. What do you think? p/s: would love to elaborate on this topic but I gotta go. Tata for now! pp/s: I have Physics 2 tmrw and I'm still not reading. #die ppp/s: I haven't posted up my compo.......... |
